Writing your first post on the Alfreton Online Forum

If you want what you have to say to be seen far and wide, Alfreton Online forum will help you do just that!

First Step - Registration

The first part of being able to write a post on the forum is to register on the site, and then having successfully verified your registration (this is done by the email we send to you after you have completed the registration process) you need to login to the forum.

Please note - allow up to 15 minutes to recieve your registration email verification - also, check your email spam filters just incase the email we have sent to you ends up in your "junk" email folder.

When you are logged in you can post a new article or thread...

 

Posting a new article / thread

Having logged in, if you didn't get re-directed to the forum, then go to the home page , and select from the menu the "Alfreton Forum " link.

You should see all the forum categories, subjects and sub-headings - i.e. Business, health, etc and headlines, for sale etc etc.

Decide which category area is most applicable to the post you wish to write and then click on the subject header or if you wish to reply to someone else's post click on the title of the post and you will get a Green "reply" link or, if you are creating a new post, you will see a green link called "New Thread" on the left hand side of your screen.

click on either the reply or the new thread link will open up the post editor and using this screen, you can write a subject header for your post, embed images, write and add hyperlinks too.
